The following is a list of the major cases, and reasoning as to why they are considered 'major'.

  • Sunlust Pictures, LLC v. Nguyen
    • In a Case Management Conference held in November 2012:
      • Mark Lutz appears in court and introduces himself as a "corporate representative".
      • John Steele is also in attendance.
      • Both men are (unexpectedly) placed under oath and questioned about their knowledge of Sunlust Pictures and their role in Prenda Law Firm. Their testimony is cited in similar cases across the country.
      • Ultimately the judge rules that Mark Lutz is NOT a representative of Sunlust Pictures and that his attempt to portray himself one constitutes a fraud upon the court.
